Visual Fault Locator
Visual Fault Locator (VFL) is a compact and practical fiber optic test instrument designed to quickly locate faults and verify continuity in optical fiber cables. It uses a visible red laser source to identify breaks, bends, cracks, faulty splices, and other problems along a fiber link.
Visual Fault Locators are widely used for fiber optic testing, FTTH installation, cable troubleshooting, network maintenance, splicing, and fiber continuity testing. The visible laser signal makes it easier for technicians to identify the location of a fault, particularly in short-distance fiber links and areas that are difficult to inspect visually.
